Through your registration on the Website, we may collect the following information from you: your company’s name, job title, first name, family name, function, telephone number, e-mail and web address, postal code, city, country and VAT number. Cepi will act as the data controller as defined by Article 2 of the Directive 95/46/EC on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data.

The information that we collect about you will be used for the purpose of providing you with your personal log-in details (username and password) for use on the Website, as stated herein, and for general administrative and management purposes. Some of your information, such as your company name, (web) address and telephone number, will be stored in the RPID database and made available online to public authorities to allow your identification as a participant in the RPID and therefore as a supplier of recovered paper. Public authorities will be able to consult this online information on the Website on the basis of your Recovered Paper Supplier Code. Such users may be based in other countries which may not necessarily have the same level of data protection as your country. By providing your information on the Website, you consent to your information in the RPID database being processed and shared in this way with public authorities. We will not disclose your data to any other parties than as stated herein, unless if we would be required to do so by law or to comply with a court order served upon us in connection with the Website, or to protect and defend our rights and interests and those of our members. We will not use your data for any commercial purposes.

Should you wish to consult, complete or rectify any of the information that we may hold about you or your company, please use your username and password for consulting and updating your profile.
